About Us

Carpeting is a major investment in your home, and regular cleanings are necessary to keep it looking new. In fact, it is soil, not foot traffic, which is the largest contributor to the premature demise of carpets. Regular carpet cleanings are so important that most major carpet manufacturers require them in order to maintain their warranty.

Carpet Cleaning Facts You Should Know:

1. THERE IS ONLY ONE SAFE WAY TO CLEAN CARPET
Thoroughly and on-location, without using damaging amounts of liquid.
2. WE DON'T USE THE ROTARY METHOD
The rotary method uses a shampoo that is scrubbed into the surface of the carpet using one large or two small brushes. This does a fair job of cleaning the carpet surface, but the deep-down dirt is either untouched or carried deeper into the pile by the shampoo. This method makes no provision for removal of the shampoo and dirt. The carpet must be vacuumed later in a separate operation.
3. WE DON'T USE THE "STEAM" METHOD
No steam is used. Live steam can be disastrous to your good carpet. Actually, the "steam" is only hot water that is sprayed into the carpet. And, in most cases, little more than half of the dirt bearing water is extracted from the carpet. The remainder is left and can result in soggy carpet, browning, mildew, shrinkage, or damaged backing, padding and floors. Drying time can run up to 24 hours (a long time for any carpet area to be unusable).
4. WE DON'T USE THE ROTARY / BONNET METHOD
Such procedures will brighten the surface but can't remove the dirt deep in the pile.
Result: embedded dirt works up quickly to the surface to resoil the carpet.

Here Is What We Use?

Tony's Carpet Care Uses a Low Moisture Soil Extraction System.

Our System uses a dry foam
(not gallons of water!)
We Use a Cylindrical brush:
that cleans down to the base of the carpet (unlike rotary brushes, which merely clean the surface!)
We vacuum immediately:
using a powerful suction that lifts out dirt laden foam in seconds

We apply a dirt emulsifying dry foam, brushing it thoroughly into the carpet. This removes both foam and dirt immediately, before it can sink back down into the carpet. This simultaneous operation is an important benefit. Only foam containing 10% moisture is used, and your carpet is ready for use in about an hour. There is no danger of shrinkage, dry-rot, browning or mildew
Remember:
"Steam" is just a lot of water. "Rotary brushes" just take the dirt for a joy ride. Bonnet methods just superficially clean the surface.

If soil is extracted from carpet frequently, with limited moisture and safe, environmentally friendly products, indoor air quality will be improved.

Tony's Carpet Care uses an exclusive system that vacuums away dirt-laden foam simultaneoulsy - the instant emulsified dirt is separated from the carpet fibers.

Carpet cleaned by the low moisture soil extraction system is noticeably and beautifully brighter, softer, cleaner, drier - right after cleaning - and it stays that way longer! No sloshy puddles or bad smells; it can't shrink, warp or mildew (because not enough moisture is involved to cause these problems). Our products are environmentally safe, and will leave your home smelling clean and fresh.
